Fantastic Broadway Workshop This Thursday!

This Thursday, April 19, after school, all CHS and Cedarbrook musicians have a wonderful opportunity to participate in a free musical theater workshop with a leading Broadway performer. The workshop is in Cedarbrook’s auditorium from 3:30-5:00 pm. We hope you will take part!

The workshop will include teaching of a group musical number, a group improv game, individual solos in a master class setting, and a final performance of the group number. Your leader will be Catherine Cox, a Tony-nominated actress who has had leading roles in eight Broadway shows!

This special opportunity is a preview of a great workshop this August at Temple University: Broadway Triple Threat Philly. The program runs August 6-11. Details are the summer program on their website and on this document.

The staff of the August workshop includes Artistic Director of Broadway Triple Threat, Catherine Cox (see above) and Co-Artistic Director David Evans, who is currently the Associate Conductor of “Wicked” on Broadway. In addition, Mandy Gonzalez from “In the Heights” and “Wicked” will be one of the guest instructors.

We hope you can come to Cedarbrook after school on Thursday! You’ll get some fun instruction in musical theater and, if you like, find out more about the Broadway Triple Threat program in Philly this August!
