CHS Singer Conducts the Philadelphia Orchestra

CHS Sophomore Lowell Hoyt, a member of Select Choir, Sons of Pitch, and the Keystone State Boychoir, had an experience of a lifetime Thursday, April 7, as he conducted our world-class Philadelphia Orchestra in Bizet’s “The March of the Toreadors.” Lowell got a tryout with a small ensemble in the Kimmel Center lobby, and he was chosen over dozens of potential conductors of all ages to conduct the orchestra.

Check out this amazing video. Go, Lowell!!!

And a great backstage pic with Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Music Director of the Philadelphia Orchestra!
