Random Act of Singing and Free Opera

Friday evening, September 30, at Independence Mall, the Opera Company of Philadelphia will broadcast a live performance of Bizet’s famous opera Carmen on a jumbo screen. The broadcast is a live feed from the Academy of Music. And you can see it for free.

Plus, in the intermission, you could be part of a flash-mob style “Random Act of Culture”: an un-rehearsed, mass singing of America the Beautiful in the heart of historic Philadelphia.
